The first Stock Bull to be purchased was EVIDENCE OF WYCH CROSS whose parentage were both Double Royal Show & Royal Highland Show Champions.  He was a son of NEWHOUSE JEWLIAN ERIC and out of ERISIUM OF WYCH CROSS.  He left many correct cattle including EDWIN ENDER OF IDVIES,  2400gns sold for export to Argentina and ENCHANTER OF IDVIES,  2600gns sold to CANDACRAIG

He was followed by EMPEROR OF TANGIER who left a tremendous impact on the herd.  A son of NEWHOUSE JEWROR ERIC and out of EXTRA OF THORN he sired many prize winners including:
JINNY ERICA OF IDVIES Female Champion Perth Bull Sales 1967 sold for export to Italy.

JINETTE ERICA OF IDVIES sold for export to Argentina, ETHIC OF IDVIES sold for export to New Zealand.

At the Perth Spring Bull Sales 1992, A second prize winner from the MONKWOOD HERD was purchased for 3000gns. EDWARD OF MONKWOOD was brought into the herd mainly for his natural fleshing abilities and outstanding pedigree which traces back to NEWHOUSE EDWINA 106th by NEWHOUSE JEWRIC ERIC. His dam SHIELDMAINS EDWINA a great show cow is a past female and supreme champion at the Royal Highland Show.  She then went on to fetch 8000gns at the Monkwood Dispersal sale.

Sons of EDWARD have sold to a top price of 9000gns with daughters breeding equally well including PINKY PROMISE T2 OF IDVIES being the dam of PROUD PERTH X13 OF IDVIES 2nd in class and fetching 16000gns as a joint purchase to HRH QUEEN ELIZABETH THE QUEEN MOTHERS CASTLE OF MEY HERD and the BALLINDALLOCH herd.
